Hi guys,
just want to inform u, that there will be a nice tourney in novermber held in sheffield.

Friday 3rd November:
18:00 - £5 Freezeout (100 players max.)

Saturday 4th November:
11:00 - £40 Freezeout Main Event (150 players max.) £1000 added to the prizepool

Sunday 5th November:
11:00 - Main Event (continued...)
16:00 - £5 Re-buy (100 players max.)

some further information:
-they managed to organise accomodation for 20 quid a day
- the blind structure is absolutly nice, 40 mintues blind level and a 3000 starting stake for the friday´s event and an hour blind level and 10000 staring stack for the main event.

Ok guys henning has posted most of the details about the tourney above, theres a link if you want to check it out, what i need is for people who are interested in going to let me know, that way i can get in touch with the organisers in sheffield and reserve some places.

Please do not say maybe or ill find out at such and such a date, either post it here or PM me that way I can get a rough idea of how many tickets we'll need. I need to know by friday as thats when ill get in touch with them so no excuses.

Also if anyone who is up for going is able to drive it would be alot of help, the rest of the passengers will pay for the petrol cost, if you are going and can drive could you plz post below, that way we can organise seats etc, the general plan is to go down on friday night, do whatever, play in the main event the next day, go out saturday night (cuz we'll prob all be bust lol) and then come back on the sunday day.

There's gonna be some side betting as well, (what would a weekend trip be without some side bets) on:
First to bust out, Last to bust out, Best hand, Worst Beat, Best bluff etc etc
Sofar the players who are definately going are:
Me, Henning, Dave, I think Mark G and Brian as well.
Also should say congrats to Adam who did the double last night, and I think is also going to join us in Sheffield.

Hey Man, Book one of the 7 bedroom apartments now, today, like right now....phone up and say, I wanna book a 7 bedroom apartment please...then say susop and leave your details.

The reason I say this is that there are already at least 7 people going, and £20 each is a bit awesome...

I think the 7 bedroom apartment and the almost certain banter that will accompany it is pushing me towards the definite stage of the Sheffield trip.

Definitley Maybe for the time being.

So far the people who are certainly going are: Me, Henning, John, Dave, Mike Kelly, Maybe Brian and tony, if you want to pre register its pretty easy, go to the link that henning has set up and on their forum will be another link to pre register and takes 2mins.
Im also going to book a 7 bedroom apartment, the people who i have mentioned above will definately be getting a room as they have assured me they are going, you guys can fight to the death for the other spare rooms, or maybe just PM me quickly to let me know if you are going and ill save you a spot

I can and will drive, but i'm happy to be a passenger.

Happy to be a part of the magnificent 7, will bring the ingredients of buckfast bolognese and make us all a wee pre poker feast on friday night.

Also, I'm in the process of trying to get some hoodies sorted, will post elsewhere with details, but it would look "tight" (say it like John would) if we all turned up in Heriot Watt Poker Society hoodies, and choreographed a dance routine when we arrived or busted people or something.....maybe just the hoodies.

How does leaving on Friday afternoon sound to everyone? It'll be a good half hour if i'm driving, pushing an hour.

phoned the hotel, the 7 bedroom apartment is taken, and sharon savage was'nt there, so i ended up speaking to a donk who spent 15mins on the phone and wasted 8quid of my credit, only to tell me I needed a credit card to book the rooms, I dont have a credit card so someone else from the society is going to have to make the reservations, surely someone could manage to do that!

Email them and say you want to be listed under "invited guests" and say you're travelling down with a group (approx. 10) of Heriot Watters.

Failing that telll them Tony Bee's comin doon and he won't be happy if wan ay his boys dusnae get a seat. So much so, that tony bee may be tempted to take said seat across some ride's heid.
